This report focuses on regional conflict trends in Africa. In this issue, the authors concentrate their analysis on political violence in DR-Congo, Libya, Mali, Nigeria, Somalia and Sudan in June 2012. Present conflict patterns are compared with recent violent trends, highlighting new patterns, actors and locations.
