This news article discusses the outcome of the January 2006 Nagorno-Karabakh summit involving Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliev and his Armenian counterpart, Robert Kocharian. The author argues that a sense of determination and even fatalism settled upon Azerbaijan following the collapse of the talks in France.
