This bulletin outlines findings from a 2011 survey on corruption in South Africa and compares them to findings from several previous surveys. It presents data on the importance of corruption on the public agenda, perceived levels of corruption amongst public officials and the actual experience of corruption in the form of bribery. The bulletin concludes with data on the roles of government and media in the fight against corruption.
