This paper looks at arsenic poisoning in Bangladesh through groundwater contamination. It suggests that such a large number of people have been exposed to arsenic that the problem is not just a health issue, but a threat to national security. To help combat the effects, the author suggests that the water supply needs to be improved and that the country needs to be prepared to deal with those who have already been contaminated.
