This brief talks about the discourse in Zimbabwe on how to empower its citizens. The main focus of this discourse is on how to best redistribute national wealth and resources between the former colonizing minority and the indigenous majority. Despite consensus on the need for change, opinion is divided between the two main parties on how to achieve this goal. The authors conducted a number of surveys and found that overall Zimbabweans prefer job creation strategies over takeovers of existing foreign business.
