This brief outlines advances in the CCAPS Climate Security Vulnerability Model as of early 2013. The idea of the model is to demonstrate security vulnerabilities associated with climate change in Africa and how intervention can build resilience against it. It says this version includes new information which, addresses the data in ways that show subtle differences in local vulnerabilities, and experiments with different formulas to determine how these various risk factors can come together. It also provides an outline of the overall findings of the model.
