This paper discusses how development aid to Africa can be effectively tracked. In addition to developing a methodology to track climate change adaptation aid, the authors also explore case studies on the challenges that African countries face when deploying aid resources to adapt to climate change. These studies include the examination of aid and climate change in Malawi and Ethiopia.
