This paper analyzes Tunisia's social, political and economic situation after the replacement of President Ben Ali by a democratically elected government in 2011. It observes that Tunisia still remains dependent on international good will and donor funds. Additionally, economic and political problems are being exacerbated as the ruling Nahda party tolerates the violence of Salafi allies and struggles to deliver economic reforms.
