This policy brief looks at the G-20 food security policies and the impact these have had on food security in Africa. The author argues that the G-20 agenda has had few measurable effects on food security, particular in Africa. She then goes on to says that the effectiveness of the G-20 food security policies in Africa could be strengthened through greater emphasis on financial and commodity market reforms, and increased investment in African agriculture.
