This journal addresses a wide variety of different topics on the nature of conflict with a particular focus on counter-insurgency and irregular warfare. Some of the other areas covered include: 1) the procurement of a light air support aircraft for the Afghan Army; 2) US use of hard and soft power; 3) education in the Chinese Military; and 4) military operations in in densely populated and ungoverned areas. The issue also includes three book reviews.
