This brief looks at the results of G-20 summits from 2008–2012 to see how responsive the G-20 has been to the concerns and interests of sub-Saharan Africa. More specifically, it evaluates the G-20's performance in five areas: 1) the identification of aims for global economic governance, 2) respect for applicable principles of international law, 3) good administrative practice, 4) inclusion within the G-20 process and 5) the co-ordination of international activities.
