This book examines both the implementation and significance of the 1998 Good Friday Agreement to the peace process in Northern Ireland. The book assesses the Agreement?s provisions and the first four years of its implementation (1998-2002). It also examines the roles of the main political actors in Northern Ireland, and those issues that the Agreement has yet ro resolve. The author concludes that the Good Friday Agreement represents a significant step towards peace in Northern Ireland.
