This policy brief examines different ways of systematically nurturing South-South Cooperation and Triangular Cooperation (SSC-TrC) to create sustainable peace in fragile societies, including for the politically sensitive and complex tasks of conflict prevention and peacebuilding. The author then makes some recommendations on how to improve SSC-TrC and partnership with emerging powers in order to enhance the effectiveness of support to conflict-affected countries.
