This report assesses the EU policy and strategy towards China in the areas of trade, investment and economic governance; environment and resources; defense and security; and politics. The report further highlights that China represents both an opportunity and challenge for the EU and concludes with some suggestions on how the Union can develop a more coherent and strategic approach towards China.
