This paper presents a public opinion survey of Namibians’ perceptions of, attitudes towards and demand for democracy in 2012. The survey reveals that the supply of democratic practices by the government and the ruling party exceeds the demand for democracy expressed by Namibians. It further reveals that democratic consolidation is well established in the country, while democratic values and expectations have yet to develop in Namibia’s civic culture.
