This paper reports on a workshop on European states' funding to national minority organizations to facilitate the participation of minority ethnic groups in political and public life. In particular, the workshop focused on 1) the funding of projects proposed by minority organizations; 2) how public funding facilitates political participation of national minorities; and 3) the funding of minority organizations from an international perspective.
