This research paper examines the European Commission's impact assessment (IA) of the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) between North America and the European Union. More specifically, the authors analyze the appropriateness and validity of the economic model underlying the IA, by comparing its results, methodology, assumptions and findings with the IAs of other recent EU trade and investment agreements.
