This report describes the creation of a database that provides the estimated greenhouse gas (GHG) footprint for 6 million US households over the period 2008-2018 as well as the footprint for 52 types of consumption (eg. meat consumption, air travel, and alcohol etc...). It also discusses the potential research applications of the database in carbon pricing and tax policy.
