This brief looks at Nigeria's regional and continental diplomacy and suggests that its foreign policies are hardly progressive and dynamic. The author holds that Nigeria needs to move quickly to put its domestic house in order, beginning with addressing corruption and stemming the Islamist Boko Haram terrorist movement. This requires strong leaders to build a strong economy and strong institutions.
