Dec 2014

This brief describes the major changes occurring in the Arctic and what they mean for the US’s chairmanship of the Arctic Council, which begins in April 2015. The brief's authors also recommend what policies Washington should pursue during its tenure as the Council's head -- i.e., policies that will 1) spur greater investment and interest in the region, and 2) shape the US' 'Arctic ethos' for decades to come.
