Publication

This policy brief 1) briefly explores the changing nature of UN peacekeeping operations, to include the debates surrounding them, and 2) focuses on the High-Level Independent Panel on UN Peace Operations, which is expected to submit a joint report with the UN Secretariat on the current and future shape of UN peacekeeping missions by June 2015. In the last case, the brief outlines the rationale for the review and the key issues it needs to address.
