This article explores some of the geopolitical aftereffects of the Global Financial Crisis. The author contends that there has been a sharp decline in the ideological power of financial liberalization, a decisive end to the American-led post-Cold War economic order, and a sharp rise in uncoordinated 'heterogeneous thinking'.
