This article argues that Tehran and Washington are tantalizingly close to reaching an agreement on the final status of Iran’s nuclear program. The author further contends that the remaining step is for both sides to develop a shared understanding of the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty and its provisions. That’s where revisiting the Cold War might help.
