Despite the well-documented concerns of multiple states about Iran's nuclear program, this article contends that there is another side to Tehran's nuclear plans. Indeed, the author suggests that Tehran hopes that development of nuclear power in Iran will be able to offset the rising domestic consumption of oil and gas and safeguard much-needed export revenues.
