This paper examines the extent of poverty in Swaziland, the government’s anti-poverty strategies, and public opinion on these issues. The author specifically looks at the views of the population of Swaziland on their living conditions, their experiences of poverty, the state of employment in the country and their assessment of the government’s performance in managing the economy in support of poverty-alleviation efforts.
