This paper discusses the results of a review of the World Bank's projects in Sub-Saharan Africa from 2008 to 2012 in an effort to discern trends in climate change adaptation and financing in the region. The authors then discuss the significance of tracking climate finance for efforts to improve climate adaptation strategies in Sub-Saharan Africa.
