This analysis 1) reviews the trajectory of Yemen's internal politics since President Ali Abdullah Saleh ceded power to Abed Rabbo Mansur Hadi in 2011; 2) concludes that a military solution to the ongoing violence within the country is highly unlikely; and 3) provides an overview of relations between Switzerland and Yemen.
