This paper reviews the approaches taken by multilateral climate funds between 2010 and 2014 to support low-emission and climate resilient development in urban areas in developing countries. The authors also highlight implications for future climate fund engagement, including what climate funds should focus on to maximize their positive impact on infrastructure plans specifically and climate change mitigation efforts more broadly.
