This edition reviews the status of different conflicts in Africa. Among other topics, the report's authors focus on 1) the September 2015 coup attempt and popular mobilization in Burkina Faso; 2) violence and strategic power-sharing in Burundi; 3) trends in the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo; 4) political dialogue and military power play in Libya; and 5) by-election violence and accusations that the United Party for National Development (UPND) incited riots in Zambia.
