This handbook focuses on the prevention of gender-related misconduct and the handling and monitoring of follow-on complaints within a nation's armed forces. The handbook specifically contains guidance on how to 1) establish a safe and non-discriminatory environment for men and women in national armed forces; 2) deal with instances and complaints of gender-related discrimination, harassment, bullying and abuse; and 3) monitor and oversee the handling of these behaviors.
