This paper highlights the four adjustments that UK Prime Minister David Cameron is likely to push for as he renegotiates his country's membership in the EU. The adjustments center on 1) competitiveness, 2) sovereignty, 3) social security and 4) economic governance. The paper's author also focuses on Brussels' expected reaction to these demands, how other EU members see them, and how the results of the renegotiation could affect the conditions under which the upcoming UK referendum takes place, along with its possible outcome.
