Publication

This document includes two working papers on security issues in the Caucasus. The first entitled "Georgia: The Search for State Security" traces the attempts of Georgia to cope with issues of national security since independence. It examines threats to Georgia's security and the country's relationships with Russia and the other countries of the region. The second paper on "European Security and Conflict Resolution in the Transcaucasus" assesses the issue of security in the Transcaucasus region within broader European, Eurasian and post-Soviet contexts.
