This paper examines the validity of the "Greater Middle East" (GME) concept from a Russian, US and European point of view. It focuses on understanding what kind of mission would be feasible for the US in Iraq and whether the US will succeed in democratizing Iraq the way its promoters of regime change have envisioned.
