This paper analyzes the international nuclear non-proliferation regime. The study draws attention to the main problems in this regard, namely, the Middle East and East Asia, where the NPT regime is under extreme pressure. The authors examine the challenges ahead in dealing with nuclear proliferation in these regions and pay particular attention on how to deal with Iran's nuclear program.
