This paper presents a summary of thinking on issues of accountability, partnership and capacity-building organizations. The study examines some of the policies and strategies used by organizations to promote equitable partnerships. In addition, the study discusses the accountability of partners to their own stakeholders, the accountability of partners to one another, and the accountability of the partnership to its stakeholders.
