This paper examines reports related to the issue of inequality and their implications for policymakers in governments and donor organizations. First, it considers why governments and donors should be concerned with inequality. Next, the study considers in more detail the potential constraints, especially the political economy constraints and then looks at the types of policies and interventions that can be used to address inequalities.
