This report includes an update on the activities of the ECMI Civil Society Project in Bosnia Herzegovina from October through December 2002 with respect to the legislation and implementation of a Commission to Preserve National Monuments (Annex 8 of the GFAP). It provides a summary of the proceedings of the fifth workshop in December 2002, which addressed the development of a state-level cultural heritage association and the involvement of grassroots community. The report closes with outlining the goals and priorities for 2003 and the following-up activities.
