This paper discusses how security in a nuclear-weapons-free world can best be achieved. The author analyzes the most severe security threats that the world might face and examines possible options to counter them. The paper concludes that security in a nuclear-weapons-free world is achievable and does not require the implementation of an unrealistic new world order featuring a world government.
