This publication presents an overview of the challenges of Ukraine with a special focus on its strategic security sector. The paper examines major internal and external threats and suggest solutions to these security risks. The authors insist that the key to Ukraine’s strategic security is the continuation of the process of internal reforms; otherwise the country may find itself unable to cope with future security challenges.
