Publication

This publication examines Islamist political organizations and movements that could be potentially engaged by the EU for democratization purposes. The chapters analyze specific countries with Islamist parties that are domestically focused, non-violent and non-revolutionary. They discuss the political circumstances and the nature of the political activity of these parties, their relations to other non-Islamist parties and their interest in engagement with the EU.
