This publication asks what should the World Bank should envision on when it dreams of a world free of poverty. The author argues that the dream should be a bold one that treats citizens of all nations equally in defining poverty and that sets a high standard for what eliminating poverty will mean for human well-being. The publication further on suggests the introduction of a global poverty line, which would be at around US$15 a day.
