This publication asks how the UN Millennium Development Goals, a set of ambitious development targets that included ensuring a primary school education for every girl and boy by 2015, can be reached. The author argues that more money is needed and thus calls upon the US to take the lead in supplying a significant portion of the funding needed in order to encourage other donors to follow suit.
