This report makes policy recommendations to the US and its allies for dealing with the Iranian nuclear threat. These suggestions are intended to prepare the way for a long-term competition with Iran, which should reduce the need to start a hot war with the country while increasing the likelihood of giving way to one less government hostile to the US.
