This issue of UNDIR Disarmament Forum provides a survey of views on the humanitarian aspects of cluster munitions. The authors consider the humanitarian effects of the weapons, look at previous and existing stocks, examine the relevant international humanitarian law, offer personal reflections from a de-miner and reflect upon the potential role of civil society.
