This issue of Disarmament Forum focuses on the UN Peacebuilding Commission (PBC). The authors consider how the PBC can be strengthened by the international system, address maximizing the effectiveness of civil society engagement with the PBC, examine the challenges of peacebuilding coordination, and identify possible challenges and opportunities in both the short and long run.
