This issue assesses the situation concerning missiles and investigates future prospects for missile control. The authors explain that cruise missiles are largely unregulated and that the Hague Code of Conduct (HCOC) implementation leaves much to be desired. They conclude that research, development, deployment and international cooperation on active anti-ballistic missile defenses need to be continued.
