This issue focuses on the civil and military threats posed by the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) for military, terrorist and political purposes that run counter to international security. Different topics related to information security are examined, including legal aspects of cyberspace and information warfare, cyberterrorism and internet governance issues, ways to study critical information infrastructure and the attempts of international and regional forums to address particular aspects of information security.
