Dec 2006

This report disseminates the results of a research and evaluation project undertaken in six EU member states in 2006. The project sought to evaluate the effectiveness and cost-effectiveness of cultural policies aimed at the social inclusion for ethnic minorities and the Roma and Sinti population groups. The report states that while some initial strides toward the improved social inclusion of minorities have been made in the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Sweden, there still appears to be a long road ahead, full of national and local obstacles.
