This paper examines economic growth in Africa. The author argues that the problem of low economic growth can be linked to the lack of electrical infrastructure and roads on the continent. He concludes that there is an urgent need for the US to support a clean infrastructure initiative to provide energy through a variety of renewable sources and facilitate the construction of roads.
