This report provides a comparative analysis of the ongoing efforts to control illicit light weapons trafficking being pursued at the regional level by the OAS and the EU and internationally by the UN and the G8. The report recommends policies to integrate the various initiatives and provide a more coherent and comprehensive approach to light weapons proliferation.
